We, CeWe Color AG & Co. OHG (hereinafter referred to as CEWE) look forward to your visit to our website and your interest in participating in the photo competition "Europe is Beautiful".
Our Privacy Policy statement is there to inform you about what information we will collect at CEWE during your visit to our website and during your participation in the photo competition - and how it is used.
1. Collection of non-personal data
When you visit the CEWE website general details will be automatically collected (without having registered). The installed web server saves, as standard:
- the name of your Internet service provider
- the website you visited us from
- the websites you have visited via us
- your IP address.
This information does not not involve personal data. The collected data cannot be linked to a named individual. The information will be evaluated anonymously. It will be used solely for statistical purposes and to improve the attractiveness, content and functionality of our site. Where data is passed to external service providers, we have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that data security regulations are followed.
2. Collection, processing and transmission of personal data
We will only collect personal data as far as and to the extent that you have voluntarily provided us with your data i.e.: when registering for photo competitions, when filling out forms or sending us emails, when placing an order for products or services, or when submitting inquiries or requests about materials ordered. 3. Storage of data (data retention)
Personal data provided to us for one of the aforementioned purposes listed in paragraph 2 will be stored in its valid, current version in accordance with the applicable statutory retention time limit and will then be deleted.
4. Etracker
We would like to point out that data for marketing and optimisation purposes are collected and stored on this website using technology from etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com). This data is used to create user profiles under an alias. Cookies may be used. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the visitor's Internet browser's cache. Cookies facilitate the reidentification of the web browser. The data collected by etracker technology data will not be used to identify a visitor personally without the separately given agreement of the individual involved and will not be compiled using the alias´s personal data. Permission for the collection of data and storage can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

If we introduce new products or services, if Internet practices change or if Internet and computer security technology advances further, this "Privacy Policy" will be updated.
